Gospel artiste Betty Bayo has opened up about some of the major misconceptions people have had about her, especially because she is a public figure.

Betty who was speaking during an interview with Mpasho said,

'The craziest thing I have heard about myself is that my kids were fathered by a mzungu, surely how could that be yet they are dark skinned.

The other thing I heard is, that I had plastic surgery.

She added,

There was a time I went to the US and delivered, I was not stressed so I came back looking more beautiful and people started talking.

I have NEVER done plastic surgery and I have never even considered it.'

Betty however added that she keeps in communication with Kanyari.

'I do keep in touch with him but only on matters where the kids are involved.

I do not keep tabs on his relationship so I am not sure if he has moved on or not.

I do not miss him because if I did I would have gone back to him.'

The mother of two also advised fellow women to walk away from toxic relationships if they feel they are not working out.

‘I HAVE LEARNED THAT MARRIAGE IS NOT EASY.

I LEARNED TO FORGIVE, TO LET GO AND I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE IN MARRIAGE TO DO THE SAME.

 SOME PEOPLE NEVER PASSED THROUGH WHAT I WENT THROUGH.

 NO ONE WANTS TO MARRY SOMEONE WHO EMBARRASSES YOU on TV.

Adding,

'BUT NOWADAYS WHEN PEOPLE  FIGHT OVER SMALL ISSUES THEY KILL EACH OTHER.

KINDLY IF A RELATIONSHIP IS NOT WORKING JUST LET IT GO.’
