Pendo had a highly publicised split from her fiance, Joseph Kner late last year. It was an embarrassing experience for the socialite who made a meal of announcing the engagement.

She was exasperated that she still had to talk about the man despite her being in the prime of her life:

I AM 24. HE IS 50. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.

She also asked that people remember that engagements break up, referencing Ariana Grande's and Cassie's break-ups that happened last year.
