The Daily Mail recently carried a heart-breaking story about a man who discovered some of the worst news any man could ever find out! That the 3 sons he had taken care of with utmost devotion for more than 20 years were not his.

The British man whose name is Richard Mason sadly discovered this news after a doctor told him that he had been infertile his whole life!

Devastated Mr Mason had never doubted that he was the boys’ biological dad until two years ago when he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis – an inherited disease which prevents male sufferers from fathering children naturally.

"The doctor could n't be right," Richard must have thought to himself. Didn't he already have 3 sons with his ex-wife?

This began his descent into the rabbit hole that uncovered a web of deceit that would break most men. Read the rest of the story .

While the account might seem like a far-fetched horror story, the tale is replicated in thousands of homes the world over.

It is so bad that a country like France( the romantics themselves!) made it illegal for a suspicious father trying to check for paternity without legal consent. Why would they do that?

Paternity tests were banned in France 15 years ago. If French customs intercept DNA samples or results in the mail, the perpetrators in theory risk up to a year in prison and a 1,748,460 shillings fine...

According to Wikipedia, the reason for this is called "keep the peace" with the French government citing psychologists who state that fatherhood is determined by society, rather than biology.

Now for an impartial observer, the reason the French government gives is rather flimsy. According to science, being a father is a biological trait and not a social construct that modern-day social justice warriors say it is.

The reasons for women doing this might be committing paternal fraud are many:

  • Financial stability – The biological father was considered to be an irresponsible person.
  • Alleged Father was easier to communicate with.
  • Fear of ruining her relationship.
  • Not knowing who the real father might be.

We can all agree that everyone lies to a degree. But as a man, you can't let yourself get suckered into taking care of a child that isn't yours. It is not only wrong but it also foolish!

Get a DNA test today and protect your future.
