After flying and turning his congregation into "horses" some few months ago, Pastor Penuel Mnguni of End Times Disciples Ministries in Soshanguve in South Africa recently did something that shocked even the government.

The man of God is now in trouble with South Africa's animal welfare organisation, SPCA after he allegedly had his congregation eat live snakes because they'll turn into chocolates.

Inspectors from the SPCA and the nature conservation department accompanied Metro cops to search self-proclaimed prophet Penuel Mnguni's church and home for animals.

The prophet made headlines after photos circulated of him feeding live snakes to his congregation, claiming they tasted like chocolate. When asked where the snakes were kept, Mnguni said: "I don't keep reptiles in my house or church, I catch them when I need them. God gave me the power to turn them into chocolate." The Tshwane SPCA and the nature conservation department said they would open a case against the pastor.
