It has now been revealed that even before the death of thespian Charles Bukeko his show Papa Shirandula had already been terminated.

According to Kenneth Gachoya alias Njoro the show was stoped once the COVID-19 pandemic started.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, he said,

'It was stopped four months ago immediately the coronaVIRUS pandemic started. The management told us kipindi imeisha.

The management told us we would not record any new shows but only air the already recorded ones.

We thanked them for having given us a chance, so we already knew the show had already been stopped.

We had parted ways for every one to go start their own lives. We were no longer shooting.'

Adding,

'Papa was not just my co-actor but he was family, It will take time for me to accept that I won't see Papa again but slowly I will overcome the grief.

There is no definite time as to when I will be able to accept his demise.'

Papa Shirandula passed away on Saturday after he developed breathing problems. He was buried three days later in his Busia homestead.

He had earlier tested positive for Covid-19 and was in self isolation at home.
