Cecilia Njeri Gicheha whose life was cut short by two reckless drivers plying Kasarani route was finally laid to rest yesterday. The 23-year-old lady met her untimely death last Friday in the CBD when she was sandwiched in between two matatus that are said to have been competing for customers.

Cecilia was on her way back from home and was to attend a fellowship with friends but it never happened. She  broke her ribs and chest bones. Good Samaritans among them a police officer rushed her to hospital but she died while doctors were taking an X-ray.

During her funeral service, many eulogized Cecilia as a humble, kind and God fearing lady. She had just landed her first job at the prestigious Boma Hotel and was to start soon. Here are the emotional photos from Njeri's burial ceremony, check out.
