Jacque Maribe and Joseph Irungu alias Jowie have been spending nights in jail. Jacque in Langatta Women's Prison while Jowie has been spending his nights at Industrial Area.

The first time Jacque appeared in court was after been arrested and spending an entire weekend at Gigiri police station, she looked miserable, tired and frustrated.

Life turned for the worst in the snap of a finger. One day she was at work and the next day she was in court and later taken to jail.

Jacque trended all week based on her physical appearance on that day. She did not look like the Jacque we know with makeup and all. She shed tears and her father was there to comfort her.

Today, she appeared before the judge to take a plea on the murder charge against her and the fiance, Jowie.

The two are accused of murdering businesswoman Monicah Kimani.

From the pictures today, Jacque looks a bit more relaxed. She was seen laughing and she even had a new wig on that has been flat ironed, perfectly done and wore some lip gloss.

She was comfortable and at ease and you could see she was interacting with a lot of people in the courtroom.

Even after the ruling of the judge who pushed her bail hearing to 17th of October in a different court, Jacque's demeanor did not change.

The TV anchor hugged the people who came to court to support her, which was not something we saw from the last ruling.
