Microsoft is running the #UpgradeYourWorldKE contest in search of a not-for-profit organization that is upgrading the world. This could be in any field…whether education, health or youth empowerment. Each organization receives $50,000 to fund their operations and impact their societies more.

The countries being covered include Kenya, Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States. The winning organizations must impact people in their respective country through technology. To vote for your favorite NGO, just go to the official #UpgradeYourWorldKE page and do the voting. Some of the NGOs that have been selected include Homeboyz, I Chose Life – Africa and Computers For Schools – Kenya.
