Jivu is a Kenyan duo that originally hail from Rongai Nairobi Kenya.

It is made up of Uncle K and Chege Anderson who are popularly known for their Afro-soul genre of music.

They have been in the music industry for four years now and describe their journey as bumpy and concrete.

While they may have not been mainstream  for a long time, they have grown tremendously and have met a lot people in the way that have influenced their way of composition.

They have indeed grown in the process

The two of them met in Sauti Academy where they shared a classroom with acts such as Nvirii the storyteller, Bianju and some members of H_art the band.

Their journey began before Gengetone blew up and they couldn't be more proud of their fellow artists.

It is the process we are proud of them

They have come up with an EP called Hayawi Hayawi that has 8 tracks in there and the their four year journey is attributed to have been the inspiration behind the composition of the EP.

The brains behind the production is Waithaka Ent, House of Dillie  and Giggz who are independent as far as production is concerned.

The duo hopes to get signed at some point of their career if it comes with a better deal.
