Life is not easy.

It's full of bumpy rides but only the strong survive.

Celebrated NTV's investigative journalist Dennis Okari is among the few who survive the many storms that come along the way.

In 2016 October, Okari married the love of his life Betty Kyallo but all did not go well. They parted ways after six months.

This saw Okari go silent for months but the strong man he is, the father of one has recollected himself and he seems to have turned into a motivational speaker.

Okari has been sharing inspirational quotes and messages on his social media accounts which many are speculating that they have a hidden meaning.

The talented journalist went ahead to share another lengthy message about rebooting your life and starting over.

"REBOOT YOUR LIFE

Everyone wants to be in CONTROL.

When we lose the sense of control over any situation in our lives, we fall into a trap called ‘helplessness’. It comes with the worst feeling ever because you feel run over, boxed, punched, cornered and grounded.

The natural instinct of man is to be free. We break rules, disobey commands, reject directives because they make us feel caged. Freedom to break out, freedom to be yourself even if you will look silly, freedom to think aloud, freedom to choose, that’s what we all want right? But sometimes the environment around you will not allow this happen. It could be your family, your friends, your job, your business or school.

You may not be able to control every situation and its outcome, but you can control your attitude and how you deal with it. No one can take this power of control from you. God gave us the power to choose. That’s control.

Everyone wants ALTERNATIVES

When you feel stuck, there is always that still small voice that tells you there is another way. That voice is small because it dares you to take a risk, to be different, to be unique, to step out and do the impossible. The louder voice will tell you, it’s the end of the road, it’s not possible, it won’t happen, it will take time. The loud voice that says I can’t, wants to drown you. Don’t listen to it. There is always a way out of any difficult situation. Just listen to the small voice. Your BIG GOD is in the small voice.

Everyone wants to DELETE

When you feel like you have a pit in your stomach and a bitter lump in your throat, stop and delete the source of that tension. Delete friends, delete phone numbers, delete addresses, delete associations, delete naysayers, close the tap of negative gas, burn the fuse of doubt, disconnect yourself from people and things that will not bring out the best in you and embrace God who has your best interests in His heart. “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future – Jeremiah 29:11

IT’S TIME TO REBOOT YOUR LIFE.

Dennis also shared another post talking about adjusting one's focus leaving his followers wondering whether he has fallen in love again. He advised people to approach life the same way a photographer does. His message was clear.

"ADJUST YOUR FOCUS

When life gets blurry adjust your focus.

A lion doesn’t turn around when small dogs bark.

A cow won’t stop drinking water from the river because of a croaking frog next to its nostrils.

An eagle will spot a prey and narrow its focus and set out to get it. No matter what stands in the way, they feed their laser focus on the prey and then move.

Their focus is steady and precise until they grab their prey. There is a small chance they will miss their target.

Regardless of what is going on in your life, have a laser focus on what you want and never allow obstacles to shift your focus. Many people lose focus because of lack of vision and lack of purpose.

Approach life the way a photographer handles a camera or even your phone camera.

Just FOCUS on what is important and that means your target, CAPTURE it and DEVELOP the image.

Crop out what you don’t want, add the filter you like, add the contrast colors, sharpen it and save the changes.

If you don’t like what you see, take another SHOT. “Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you”. - Proverbs 4:25."
