Chinese film director Chang Kai and his family are the latest victims to succumb to coronavirus.

Chang, a film director, and an external communications officer at a Hubei Film Studio lost his father, mother, and sister within the span of a few days before he succumbed to the illness.

Before he died, Chang shared an emotional post, about his father who died on January 25 (Lunar New Year) after they were rejected by a few hospitals due to lack of enough beds. He passed the disease to them (his wife, daughter, son and daughter-in-law).

My father had a fever, cough and trouble breathing. We tried to send him to the hospital but none of the hospitals we visited took him, because they had no more beds.

The 55-year-old died in a community hospital in Huangpi District of Wuhan on February 14 from a Covid-19 infection.

Chang's wife is currently admitted at a hospital and their only child is in London, where's currently studying.
