As always happens in any competition, there is a winner and a loser. And in the recently concluded elections, there was a winner, President Uhuru Kenyatta, the incumbent and a loser in the form of Honourable Raila Odinga.
As is the norm for African elections, the voting is never problematic but the tallying of votes damn well is and sure enough, Raila Odinga raised some pertinent questions that have still not been addressed to date.
That aside, when Uhuru Kenyatta was declared the winner, Kenyans in parts of the country that are loyal to him took to the streets to celebrate. The other side of that coin is that protesters who are loyal to Raila Odinga and who share his sentiments of the process being fraught with fraud took to the streets.
Police have reportedly been using lethal force to arrest the situation and Octopizzo isn’t having it. Here is what he said:
Kenyan Police should not shoot people with live bullets as they are doing in Kibera,You are capable of making an arrest NOT KILLING
