Jack Ma, the richest man in China was in Kenya where he gave a public lecture at the University of Nairobi (UON).

Ma, was accompanied by 38 other billionaires and from what many got from his lecture is that he was from a humble background. What many term as 'grass to grace'.

Ma, 53, amazed many when he drove in with a simple Nissan Van, one that challenged many people's aspirations to humility.

According to Jack Ma, nobody thought he would be rich. Jack said that many told him that being rich was not in his genes. And alas, here he is. Balling all the way to the banks!

After the lecture, Ma also got the chance to visit the Maasai Mara. He later flew to Kigali for a lecture which will be hosted by Julie Gichuru.
