A man is expected in court today to face charges of selling counterfeit Viagra.

Peter Thatia was arrested by police and officials from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board in Hurlingham in Nairobi County.

Counterfeit ViagraPro capsules, two polythene bags containing a white powdery substance, a capsule filler machine, advertising fliers together with a salon car that the suspect was driving were recovered and retained as exhibits.

Police say he will face charges of unlawfully manufacturing and selling in the course of trade in counterfeit medicines contrary to The Anti-Counterfeit Act No. 13 of 2008.
