Remember the curvaceous radio presenter Betty Opondo? Well, the former Radio Jambo presenter of the famous Mombasa Raha program is back on air after being off the air for quite sometime. Betty recently landed a job with one of the top leading Radio Stations in Kisumu called DALA FM.

She hosts YOGRUOK show from 1-4pm every day; which specifically talks about relationships and general gossip. The show is conducted in Dholuo language.

Betty Opondo who is among the top radio presenters in the country is known for her mastery of the Swahili language despite coming from a community where Kiswahili is not one of the languages her kinsmen prefer.

"Oswayo sio mdomo chetu!" that's what most Luopeans say.

The multi-talented radio presenter whose show commands a huge fan base is a role model and an influential personality in the local showbiz.

Betty exclusively told Mpasho that the main challenge she faced when she moved to Kisumu was language barrier as she wasn't that fluent in Dholuo but she has now perfected her skills.

She also relocating back to the lakeside after staying in Nairobi for 10 years which took her time to adjust.

"It wasn't easy switching environments. I took some time to adopt to the climatical changes and I'm okay now. 

Apart from being a radio presenter, Betty Opondo is also a football fan and she is an ardent Gor Mahia supporter.
