Nyandarua man killed by mob after chopping wife's body into pieces

Residents of Lereshwa village in Kipipiri,Nyandarua county are still in shock after a 36 year old chopped his wife into pieces and dumped her body.

After chopping her body the man then dumped her body in a pit latrine in a deserted nursery school.

Peter Ng’ang’a dragged Teresiah Wanjiru into the maize plantation where he committed the crime in company of other unknown people before escaping to Karunga in Gilgil, Nakuru county, where he was caught and killed by members of the public.

Police reports have it that the Wanjiru’s head is yet to be recovered.

The incident was reported by the couple’s young daughter who was locked in the house together with her younger brother when their mother was being beaten and drugged to the maize plantation.

Last evening some residents said she was killed because sometimes back she reported her husband to police for stealing.

Some cows had been stolen from Lereshwa village and slaughtered in the bush where her husband was among the culprits.

One man said she has been reporting at Miharati police station that her life is in danger as her husband has been threatening to kill her but no step has ever been taken.

Ng’ang’a declined to disclose his accomplices to the mob that killed him but hinted one is a boda boda operator who helped him take the chopped body to the pit latrine.

The couple had four children.
