Willy Paul and Kenyan artistes are not yet done with MCSK after paying them peanuts.

The war seems to have just started and things might take an ugly turn if artistes storm the MCSK offices as many have threatened to.

MCSK later revealed why they paid artistes poorly.

We have distributed royalties to all our members (13,967) general distribution. It's PPP distribution (Performance in Public Places) these are collections from public places for only 2 months. Please note that we haven't received a dime from any broadcasters who exploit music,' read a tweet on MCSK's page.

Another tweet by MCSK read,

We made a general distribution because if we strictly followed scientific distribution then 70% of the money collected will be paid to the international societies. We all know that Kenyan music receives little airplay. The figures you'd receive would be less.

Willy Paul went ahead to rant calling upon DCI to take action against the music body.
