Former NTV presenter Jane Ngoiri and Citizen TV's Trevor Ombija are great friends. The two were colleagues at NTV  before Trevor joined another media house. In a post, Ngoiri revealed that Ombija was not only her friend but a special one.

Responding to Jane's post, Trevor showered her with love and he wrote,

'Nunurito, my ride or die buddy clicked from day 1 when I was fresh from the village and still going strong more than 8 years later. You are a kind soul and a true friend. I will forever be grateful that I met you and I wish you all the best in life coz you deserve nothing but the best.'
