Death is so cruel. It comes when we least expect it. Celebrated Nation Media Group Presenter Njambi Koikai, is the latest celebrity to be bereaved. Njambi lost her grandmother whom she used to refer to as "Mum" because she is the one who brought her up.

"My grandma, our mummy has passed on. May her soul Rest In Peace. This is painful. Pray for us all."

Njambi Koikai has been going through a lot and recently, she almost lost her life after her lungs collapsed.

The soft-spoken lady is mourning her "mother" and she took to social media to thank her fans for the support.

"Thanks for all your messages and love. Funeral meetings are being held at our home. Mummy will soon be laid to rest. Shine on your way my mummy...Shine on,"
