“Will you have this woman/man as your lawful wedded partner, to live together in the estate of matrimony? Will you love him/her, honor him/her, comfort him/her, and keep him/her in sickness and health; forsaking all others, be true to him/her as long as you both shall live?

The bride/bridegroom

I,(name) take (name), as my wedded partner, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part.”

These are the most common words at any wedding ceremony. The bride and groom exchange these vows and place a ring on each other’s fingers to symbolize that they are united. The belief is, the married couple will wear their wedding rings to death.

It is this same belief that awakened our curiosity to the fact that gospel artiste Size 8, who is married to DJ Mo, no longer wears her wedding ring. We noticed this anomaly on some of her latest photos. Is everything OK with her marriage?

“I Choose To Always Love You,” Dj Mo Pours Out His Heart To Size 8

In 2014, Size 8 and Dj Mo got married in an exclusive invite-only wedding ceremony. More than a year later, the couple was blessed with a bouncing baby girl Ladasha. It is during this time that the ring mysteriously disappeared from Size 8’s finger. We called Size 8 to find out the reason why she abandoned that sacred practice for married couples. She responded by telling us that her wedding ring could no longer fit her.

“Ever since I gave birth, I have gained a lot of weight and the ring never fits me. I underwent caesarian section and had to wait for three months to elapse before I start exercising. I’m now working out to gain back my figure and maybe then the ring will fit. If not, I will be forced to buy a new one.”

There you have it; Size 8’s fingers are simply fat and her marriage to DJ Mo remains as solid as ever.
