Citizen TV presenter Mzazi Willy M Tuva on Sunday dismissed as baseless reports suggesting that he has given up the ghost.

His fans were worried sick after an unreliable blog posted a story claiming the Mambo Mseto host died in the horrific accident that occurred along Nairobi-Nakuru Highway on Saturday.

The blog had it that he was among the 40 fatalities after a tanker rammed into 13 vehicles before bursting into flames at Karai in Naivasha.

However, Willy M. Tuva has since rubbished those claims saying he is as fit as a fiddle while faulting sites that create and publish falsehoods using celebrities' names to gain traction.

In an Instagram post, the veteran presenter asked his fans to ignore the rumors and treat it with the contempt it deserves.

He also condoled with families  and friends of those affected by the tragedy while wishing a quick recovery to the injured.
