Lady S was one of the most sought after femcee's in Kenya back in the day. She was also part of Calif records where she released a couple of projects that were hits and are still played to date.

Sharon Wangwe, real name, died on a road accident on 3rd September 2007 and was buried at Butonge village in Sirisia.

Nonini in a recent interview with CTA paid tribute to her 13 years on, remembering how she entered Calif with a fresh sound

Lady S came through from Dandora, rest in peace. She died in a road accident, when I pass through the Thika Superhighway, I really get angry because it took so long for that highway to be made because the road was bad.

She came with her own flavour. We were singing the way you talk and thats how we blew up.

Lady S was well known for her hit songs 'Ukimwona' 'Kilio' 'Nare Sitaki' among others. Before her death she had joined the Calif Angels made up of Ratatat and Chokuu.

Nonini has been in the industry for over two decades and is well known as the Godfather of Genge.
