Football Kenya Federation has stopped all football leagues in North Eastern until all participants are cleared by security agencies. This is after it was reported Al Shabaab are using football as means of recruiting young people.

FKF has further directed all its branches to stop any unsanctioned tournaments. FKF will hand in hand with security agencies to vet football teams in North Eastern. Here is the press release.
