British racing driver Lewis Hamilton has for the first time revealed details of his brothers ailment that saw Eliud Kipchoge react in a motivational way.

Hamilton races in Formula One for Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport and is often considered the best driver of his generation, plus widely regarded as one of the greatest drivers in the history of the sport.

He took to social media to post his brother Nicolas Hamilton who is disabled but has conquered it all through racing as the only disabled driver in British Touring cars.

He wrote;

This is my blood brother, my brother from the day he was born and since then my number 1 supporter. I am forever grateful to have had the privilege to watch such a special person grow from birth. For those of you that don’t know, my brother was born with cerebral palsy and was told he may never walk. He has never given up, continues to rise and races in British Touring cars as the first and only disabled driver, as well as the first and only black driver in the sport which has until today been out of reach for minorities and people with disabilities.

Adding that: "So proud of him and excited to see what is next for him. #hambros as he says, we never give up! Neither should you🙏🏾 #inspiring"

In his response Kipchoge wrote;

Wow! remember ’No human is limited’

This is Kipchoge's favourite phrase meaning that everyone can achieve more than what they think is possible.
