Willy Paul, Willy Pozee!

This line is probably the best thing he ever came up with.

Willy Paul is trending after he decided to surprise his fans and followers two weeks ago with a not so gospel song featuring Tanzanian queen, Nandy.

So far, the single has already scooped him over 1 million views on YouTube.

Willy Paul

Willy Paul had an interview with Tanzanian media personality, Lil Ommy, where he opened up about a lot.

The gospel star said as an artiste and he doesn’t want to be put in a box and defined. And that’s why he sings about anything and everything that inspires him.

At the end of the day, he does not sing about hate, its all love.

Lil Ommy pointed out that he has struggled to establish himself despite coming from abject poverty.

From a houseboy to an international star.

Willy Paul and family

Willy Paul got emotional talking about the story to a point where he stopped and said he can not continue.

Well, when his father passed away, he and his mother had nowhere to stay here in Nairobi which then led them to part ways.

At his point of desperation, he met a man who took him in but things did not go so well. Willy Paul was then turned into a houseboy.

He did not go so much into the details of the story as he got emotional and asked Lil Ommy to move on to something else.

The personality obiged him and went on with the interview.

“niliwahi teseka sana. niligeuzwa house BOY but sipendi kuzungumzia about it. wakati baba yangu alifariki tulimzika na kurudi Nairobi. Hatukuwa na mahali pa kwenda so we parted ways and so it hurts me I can’t even talk about it,” Willy Paul said.

Well, despite Willy Paul constantly saying he has developed a thick skin, at the end of the day, he is human and has some emotions. The topic is a sensitive one to him.

Guardian Angel has also gone through a hard time despite all his success. He spoke to Word Is giving his story where he was a street child and was almost poisoned by the lady who claimed to help him.

He survived because the food the lady had poisoned was eaten by her own children who lost their lives.
