Zari Hassan's mother, Mrs. Halima was buried yesterday at Munyonyo, Kampala Uganda according to the Islamic traditions.

Mrs. Halima Hassan 58, suffered heart complications a few weeks ago and was admitted at Nakasero Hospital where she passed on last Thursday.

Diamond Platnumz and his mother were among the hundreds of mourners who turned up to pay their last respects to the fallen iron lady.

Zari's younger sister Zurah/Zuleha described her mother as a strong woman during an interview with a local blog. She praised her mother for being caring, loving and providing for them. She said that had it not been their mother’s effort, they wouldn’t be as successful as they are.

Diamond Platnumz and his mother left immediately after the burial and he took to social media to thank God for everything and added that he will be performing today in Tanzania.

"Mitihani ni sehem ya Maisha na Huletwa na Mwenyez Mungu , na Siku zote huletwa kwa sababu, na ndiomaana tumefunzwa kushukuru kwa kila jambo..... Allah nakushkuru kwa yote, Nakushkuru kwa kunifikisha Uganda na Kumaliza kila jambo salama....Naomba pia Uniongoze katika safari yangu hii ya sasa ya Kuelekea Dar es Salaam....na unitie nguvu siku ya kesho nikiwa kazini pale Leader Club."
