The 26-year-old was diagnosed with cancer in a few years ago and efforts to get funds for treatment hit a snag.

In a letter to her family, she wrote,

I kindly would like to know the way forward because it is such a terribly long time since I was on treatment, it is going to a year now.

The mother of one accused her family of neglecting her when she needed their help most.

The clock is ticking while every day I sit by my phone to hear some good news on funds, but three months later I am waiting here; still waiting for my phone to ring, but in return I get less communication to a point nobody can pick up my calls,' she wrote.

Last December Wariara left for the US for clinical trial hoping that things would be better but they turned for the worst.

She took to social media to share her tough life experience, saying,

Living here has been very tough, my son has no routine in lifestyle as he doesn’t go to school, but I wish to enroll him in daycare that also requires money.

Michelle was among the Karrume's grandchildren whom he had named as beneficiaries of his wealth before he died. There has been a tussle for the billionaire's wealth and the case is in court.
