There is a negative stereotype I have heard time and again  but I am not one to believe in such things because from my estimation, stereotypes can be used to satisfy one's agenda -be it positive or otherwise. They are as flippant in application as they are illogical.

But I want to introduce you to one Bilha Njoki, a woman who got married to her husband back in 2007 -it hasn't even been 7 years...

Bilha Njoki was married to Joseph Muraya, a man with whom she has children together with, and yet still wanted to have killed.

Fortunately for Joseph Muraya, police got wind of Bilha’s plan, and also found out that her co-conspirators were her relatives: his in-laws.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations officers in Buruburu pretended to be hitmen and contacted Bilha who it was established had even bought a new phone and line for the mission to eliminate her husband.

The detectives set up a scene to look like they had accomplished their mission in Dandora. When contacted, Bilha sent her brother Peter Gakungi and a friend Jimmy Waititu. When the two got on the scene they were shown Joseph's "corpse" which had blood spilled over him. It is reported that the two men celebrated and called

And Bwana Muraya's in-laws are reported to have celebrated the death before calling up Bilha to inform her of her former husband’s death.

The detectives at the scene arrested them and confiscated their phones asking them to get him to where Bilha was. The lady was caught while driving a Toyota Harrier near Mama Lucy and on her were 400,000 KES with six other phones. According to Joseph Muraya, it is the property they own together that was the motive why his former wife would want to kill him.
