Several counties in Kenya will experience scheduled power interruptions on Thursday, 19th September 2024, as part of maintenance and upgrade works by the electricity company.
These outages are part of regular maintenance by the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) to enhance electricity distribution.

- Areas Affected: Maili Saba, Maili Tatu
- Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Specific Locations: Kona Mbaya, BBC, Maili Tano, Royal Acacia, Range Lands, Canaan, Mugae, and other adjacent areas including Isolo Livestock Market, Safaricom BTS Archers, and Wamba.
Parts of Murang’a County:
- Area Affected: Olivado
- Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Specific Locations: Tana Staff Quarters, Sagana Getaway Resort, Sun Mango Processors, and nearby regions.
Parts of Kisii County:
- Areas Affected: Kiabusura, Motonto
- Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Specific Locations: Nyangoge Girls, Kiabusura Market, Motonto, and Nyagaancha Dispensary.
Parts of Nairobi County:
- Area Affected: General Mathenge
- Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
