The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced power interruptions in several parts of the country on Saturday, the 7th.
In a statement released on Friday evening, the company mentioned that the power interruptions is due to maintenance work that will be carried out on the power stations.
The two counties that will be affected by the interruptions are below:
Parts of Uasin Gishu County
- Time: 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
- Affected Areas: Semtech Factory, Safaricom Booster, Jua Kali, Wood Treatment, Ngamia Petro, Kakasia Chemist, Police Post, and adjacent customers.
Parts of Trans Nzoia County
- Time: 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
- Affected Areas: Kapkoi, Nauyapong, Lessos, Suam, Maridadi, Kapsitwet, Kobos, Kwanza, Kolongolo, Molem, Kimwondo, Gumo Farm, Elgon Tea, Soy Mining, Bull Station, Sabwani ADC, Katuke, Chepchoina, Elgon Orchards, Nai, Kimondo, Kaptega Chorlim, Mt. Elgon KWS & KFS, Kitum, Kaitet Panocal, Kinyoro Endebes, and adjacent customers.
