Kenya Power  has warned of power outages in several areas in the country on Monday, August 26.

In a statement on Sunday evening, the company said the power outage will be due to repairs that will be carried out at the plants.

They said some areas of two Kenyan counties will lack electricity between three in the morning and five in the evening.

The counties that will be affected are Nairobi and Homabay.

In Nairobi county, parts of the Lower Kabete area will be affected by power cuts between three in the morning and five in the evening.

Some parts of Woibero and Ojunge areas in Homa Bay county will also lack electricity between three in the morning and nine in the afternoon.
