Legendary Ugandan singer Cindy Sanyu has been dragged to court alongside her business partner Gabriel Ramathan for allegedly inciting violence.

It is reported that in December 2023, the two were out at night when a fight occurred between Kevin Nyembo and Dr. Luggya Tonny. Mr. Nyembo and his colleagues allegedly fled with money that belonged to Luggya.

The singer was also implicated in the incident, with reports suggesting that she and her business partner allegedly encouraged the assault.

Speaking to the press, Sanyu stated that she was in court on Tuesday, July 30th, only as a witness. The court hearing is expected to proceed in August as the complainant did not appear in court.

She added that the allegations against her were false and that justice would prevail soon. Sanyu is a legendary Ugandan singer and a member of the Blu 3 crew.
