Below are some of the reactions from the shooting.

@jamessmat: Nothing prepares you for Catherine Wanjeri's excruciating screams moments after she is shot by police in a moving vehicle. Gut-wrenching.

@gabrieloguda: The police fired live rounds at a journalist in Nakuru, felling her to the ground before being rushed to hospital. He just doesn't know it yet but this is where even his international friends will draw the line. The red phone at State House must be red hot right now.

@njeruh_righter: The shooting of K24 journalist Catherine Wanjeri Kariuki by police in Nakuru while covering the anti-government protest constitutes a war crime. These are the levels we have now sunk to.

@LinusKaikai: WRONG, AGAIN. Very sorry Catherine Wanjeri.

@MKapombe: After what happened to Catherine Wanjeri yesterday and to every other journalist who has been targeted in previous protests, you should have left this part out.
