Man mistaken as Kware murder suspect presents himself at DCI

• The complainant, he had received the circulating posts from worried family members and friends while at his workplace in Parklands, Nairobi.

A man who had earlier been named as a suspect in the gruesome murders of women in Kware, Area Mukuru slums had presented himself to the DCI.

In what seems as a case of mistaken identity, the man presented himself saying he had never been at loggerheads with the law before.

"I received information after a friend told me that I was trending on X. I was really shocked because I have never been in any offence and I have never been arrested before.

I was told by my supervisor to go to the nearest police station to write a statement. I went to Parklands Police station and was referred to the DCI.

I have never interacted with the person (suspect) I deny any association with him.

According to the complainant, he had received the circulating posts from worried family members and friends while at his workplace in Parklands,Nairobi.

My life is in danger, I have been receiving calls from new people, my friends and family."
