Cop Shakur has narrated his ordeal following his presence during the anti-tax protests.
Born Jackson Kuria Kihara Shakur took to his socials stating that he was being followed everywhere he went.
This, he said, triggered him to contact his wife to inform her of the following.
He claimed he was also followed around by a vehicle.
Cop Shakur said he then decided to switch his phone off, just in case he contacted someone, and they were traced.
"Niliamua nizime simu nisicontact mtu yeyote juu nikicontact mtu yeyote, huyo mtu anaweza fuatwa. Nikaamua tu niende incognito," he said.
Cop Shakur said on Saturday night, he went to Kikuyu, and he was almost hit by a vehicle.
"So hivo ndio nikaenda missing nimekuwa nalala kwa gari na mahali nakaa sitaki kucontact mtu (So I went missing I've been sleeping in the car, and I don't want to contact anywhere about where I live)," he said.
He said he slept in the car for a while before seeking refuge at Githurai 45 where he could not be traced.
He said his wife reported of his missing and his lawyer worked to get his anticipatory bail.
Cop Shakur said his wife was also followed, leading to his arrest.
He claimed he was forced to Ruiru and then taken to Kamiti Police Station.
"We were there for like three hours waiting for release," he stated adding that he was not in cuffs but could not escape.
He said a charge sheet was written. He said everything was set, including his fingerprints.
Cop Shakur claimed he was told to stay at the station being told that he was not safe outside.
He said he is waiting for the case to end then he will resign, which takes a month to process and go through.
Regarding the finance bill, he said he has received comments from other cops, with some calling him a hero for standing up.
"But sasa hao wasee wananipersecute sana (But now these other guys are persecuting me much)," he said.
He thanked those who fought for him, urging Kenyans not to hold a dialogue until justice for those who were killed during protests prevail.
Cop Shakur said after resigning he hopes to go back to school, calling for sponsors.
He wants to pursue human resource.
