Service provider Safaricom has announced scheduled system maintenance for Sunday from 11 pm to 4 am on Monday.
This is aimed at enhancing services to connect customers with endless possibilities.
"To meet our promise to always offer worry-free superior customer experiences, we will be conducting a scheduled system maintenance on the night of Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 11 pm to 4 am on Monday, July 15, 2024," it said.
During the maintenance, access to lipa na M-PESA, paybill and buy goods services, international money Transfers (Western Union), M-PESA Global, as well as M-PESA App and my Safaricom App will be available intermittently.
The company assured its customers that all other services, including calls, data, SMS, and other M-Pesa functionalities, will remain fully operational during the maintenance window.
"All other services including calls, data, SMS and all other M-PESA services will be available as usual," Safaricom said.
The service provider stated that the timing of the maintenance has been planned to result in the least inconvenience to its customers.
Safaricom apologised for any inconvenience caused and appreciates customers' understanding as it strives to provide them with best-in-class services.
