Nakuru family that lost 7 to Salama Rd. accident appeals for help

A Nakuru family that lost 7 family members in a road accident at Mlima Kiu in the Salama area along Mombasa Road two weeks ago needs your help. They lost four children and three adults.

Three others are hospitalized.

The burial ceremony is set for Tuesday next week, and the family has a pending hospital bill of Sh3.9 million, they need hearses, and coffins, to facilitate the burial.

Hannah Wanjiru, a sister, appealed through Eric Omondi, they have plans to bury them in Molo. The mortuary bill is climbing each day as it costs sh20,000 per day per body. 

Among the 10 people killed were two girls aged between five and eight, a five-year-old boy, three women and four men.

The family members had travelled from Nakuru for the Easter family reunion when tragedy struck the matatu they had hired.

“We had gone to my aunt’s home for the Easter holidays and when we were coming back, one of the cars we had collided with a trailer and it was a head-on collision,” Anne Njenga, one of the family members, told NTV.
