The Kenyan Government has announced 789 job vacancies across various ministries and state departments. The Public Service Commission (PSC) revealed in a notice that qualified and interested Kenyans have until March 19 to submit their applications.
The Commission's CEO stated, "Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the commission's website or jobs portal, so as to reach the commission on or before March 19, 2024."

The Ministry of Health is looking to hire a Director General of Health, and the State Department for Health and Professional Standards is recruiting 26 senior officials for positions such as Deputy Director General for Health, Director–Health Management Services, Public Health, and Senior Deputy Directors.
The State Department for ASALS and Regional Development is also seeking a Secretary for Special Programmes. Furthermore, the State Department for Public Service has openings for Secretaries in Management Consultancy Services, Human Resource Services, and Counselling and Wellness Services.
Other positions include 10 Human Resource Information officers II, 40 Human Resource Management and Development officers II, 50 Human Resource Management Assistant III, 9 Psychological Counsellors, 5 Management Analyst II (Organization), 100 Office Administrators II, and 300 Assistant Office Administrators III.
The State Department for Livestock Development is recruiting for various roles, including Veterinary officers, Animal Health officers, Zoologists, Laboratory analysts, Leather development officers, Livestock production officers, Lecturers, Assistant Animal Health officers III, Laboratory Technologists III, Assistant Leather development officers III, Assistant Livestock production officers III, Registered Nurse III, and Library Assistant III.
In addition, the State Department for Mining is hiring a Secretary–Mines, Secretary–Geological Survey, Directors in Geological Survey and Research, Mineral Exploration and Evaluation, Environment and Engineering Geology, Licensing, Compliance and Enforcement, and a Director Commercial Explosives.
The State Department is also in search of Senior Principal Superintending Inspector of Explosives officials, Deputy Directors–Artisanal Mining, Quarrying Operations and Value Addition, and Mining (Mineral Audit, Mines Health, Safety, and Environment).
Assistant Directors, Artisanal Mining, Quarrying Operations and Value Addition, Chief Superintending Inspector of Explosives officers, and Senior Principal Laboratory Technologists are also being sought.
