Man found dead in Kileleshwa after failing to report to work for two days

Detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in his house in Kileleshwa area, Nairobi.

Josiah Murithi Muiga, 45, failed to report to work on Monday and Tuesday prompting his colleagues to check on him.

It was then that the colleagues found his naked body on his bed at an apartment where he stayed alone along Kandara Road.

Police said the body did not have physical injuries at the time it was discovered.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.

In another incident in Olympic area, Kibera slums, the body of one John Dimba Otiro aged 43 was found in his house.

The body did not have any physical injuries when it was discovered by a relative.

Police moved the body to the mortuary pending autopsy to establish how he died.

Meanwhile, police are investigating an incident in which a 30-year-old man died by suicide in his house in Lunga Lunga slums, Nairobi.

The body of Bernard Kiprono Ngeno was found hanging on a corridor in one of the residential houses.

Police who arrived at the scene said they found the body hanging from the truss of the roof using a green nylon rope.
