KPLC: Areas that will be affected by power outage on Wednesday

Power distribution company (KPLC) has issued a warning about a planned power outage in several areas across the country on Wednesday.

In a statement on Tuesday evening, the company announced that various regions in four counties in Kenya will experience a power outage between 2 a.m. and 11 p.m.

The affected counties include Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, and Embu.

In Nairobi County, parts of Langata and Bomas, including Karen Hospital, Mukinduri Estate, Amara Ridge, Mokoiyet, and other areas, will experience a power outage between 3 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Areas in Nkoroi in Kajiado County will experience a power outage between 3 a.m. and 11 p.m. Affected areas include the New Road, Mayor Road, Rangau Citam, and its environs.

In Machakos County, parts of Mombasa Road will experience a power outage between 3 a.m. and 11 p.m. Muthama Heights, Hilton Garden Inn, Banbros, Steel Wool Africa, and Signode are among the affected areas.

Areas in Mutunduri, Kirigi, Mungania T/Factory, and Kianjokoma in Embu County will also be affected by a power outage between 2:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.
