8 counties that will be affected by KPLC power interruptions

• Parts of Kajiado to have power interruptions from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

Kenya Power and Lighting Company has announced that eight counties in four regions will experience power interruptions on Thursday.

In a statement, the power company said the interruptions should be expected at diverse times of the day. Counties to be affected include Nairobi, Machakos, Kajiado, Murang'a, Trans Nzoia, Homa Bay, Mombasa and Kilifi.

In Nairobi, areas to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Kibagare Way, Nairobi, Kibagare Slum and adjacent customers Quickmart Express, Grogon, Machakos Girls, Five Hills, Misakwani, Kyambuko, Westgate and Iveti Hills in Machakos will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Parts of Kajiado to have power interruptions from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm include Sajiloni, Enkorika, Enduata, Ol Kejuado School, Kipeto, Oloosuyian, Kikayaya, Referral Hosp Kajiado and adjacent customers.

Branan Est, Bedor Est, Githumbuini Est, Golden Pearl Est, Kahaini Mkt, Geroge Thuo & OLA, Ngararia Girls & Ngararia Mkt, Kiunyu, Kiama Est, Gatoka, Gatunyu, Kimatus, Mabanda, Ithangariri, Gatanga, Kirwara, Gateiguru, Mukarara, Rugaita, Kihumbuini, Thuita, Mukurwe, Njaini Mkt, Naaro, Muruka and Kiranga among others in Murang'a will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Parts of Trans Nzoia to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Kitalale, Marabachi, Kinyoro, Nakami, Olkadongo ADC, Rafiki, Panocal, Elgon Team and adjacent customers.

Omboga, Obilo Pri Sch, Adiedo, Maango, Orire, Wikondiek, Opanyi, Rabware, Raongo and Nyawinoin Homa Bay County will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Parts of Mombasa to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Shelly Beach Hosp, St. Thomas Hosp, Pungu Villas, Co-operative Bank, King Fisher, Mtaa wa Makka, Dudus, Swabrina, Brazil, Centi Kumi, Vanga Est, Muzdhalifah, Kwetu Beach, Furaha Gardens, Talentos, Celtel, Mzungu Mchafu and adjacent customers.

Other areas in Mombasa are Doshi Ironmongers, Great Lakes, Modern Soap, Corrugated Sheets, Karibu Flour Mills, Fossil Fuels, Kitui Flour Mills, Transpares, Owino Uhuru, Mikindani Est, Kula Unone, Kajembe Sec Sch and Mikindani Catholic Church.

Parts of Kilifi to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Ocean Beach, Malindi Golf, Malindi Prison, Woburn Residence, Kibokoni, Mijikenda Residence and adjacent customers.
