KPLC: Counties and areas expected to lose electricity today

• The affected counties include Nairobi, Kajiado, Nakuru, Siaya, Kisii, Migori, Homa Bay, and Kirinyaga.

Electricity distribution company in Kenya (KPLC) has issued a warning about power outages in several areas across the country on Wednesday.

In a statement on Tuesday evening, the company announced that some regions in eight counties of Kenya will experience power interruptions between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

The affected counties include Nairobi, Kajiado, Nakuru, Siaya, Kisii, Migori, Homa Bay, and Kirinyaga.

In Nairobi County, parts of Kangundo Road, Joska, and Malaa will experience power cuts from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Certain areas in the town of Kajiado in Kajiado County will also be without electricity from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

In Nakuru County, sections of Mawanga, Murunyu, Karunga, Mailisaba, and Bahati Dairies will face power interruptions from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday.

The Rabuor market, Sagam Hospital, and Sinaga High School areas in Siaya County will also be affected by power cuts from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Some parts of Igonga and Raganga in Kisii County will experience power outages from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

In Migori County, areas like Isebania and Masaba will have power interruptions from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Sections of Ongeng, Ndiwa, Sukari Industries, and Mirogi in Homa Bay County will also be affected by power cuts from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Certain areas in Budget, NIB, MRM, Wanguru DC, Law Courts, Police Station, and Gathigiriri Prisons in Kirinyaga County will be without electricity from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
