The Public Service Commission (PSC) has declared 684 job vacancies available across various ministries and state departments.
As per the notice released on Tuesday, interested and qualified Kenyans have until February 13, 2024, to submit their applications. The Commission's CEO emphasized that applications should be made online through the commission's website or jobs portal.

Among the openings, the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration aims to recruit at least 22 county commissioners/secretaries of administration and a deputy director for the Kenya School of Adventure and Leadership.
The Immigration and Citizen Services Department is seeking candidates for the role of secretary for Refugee Affairs, five directors of Civil Registration Services, 17 deputy directors of Civil Registration Services, and 80 assistant directors of Civil Registration Services.
The State Department for Correctional Services - Kenya Prisons Services is hiring a deputy Commissioner General of Prisons.
Other departments such as the National Treasury, Livestock Department, and Defence departments are recruiting for the positions of Director of General Public Debt Management, Director of Veterinary Services, and Director/Senior Research Fellow/Senior lecturer, respectively.
Under the State Department for Industry, there are 135 job vacancies for directors and assistant directors in various departments.
In Public Service and Delivery Management, 43 positions are available.
The Labour and Skills Development Department is looking to fill 182 positions in different departments.
