A trailer driver who escaped the accident scene at Kikopey Trading Centre along the Gilgil-Nakuru highway following an accident is being sought by The National Police Service.
It is reported that the driver lost control and hit two male adult pedestrians killing them on the spot.
A few seconds later, the same vehicle rammed into iron sheet structures a few meters from the road killing three male adults who were inside playing pool table game.
In addition, the same trailer caused other massive damage to property, including three motor vehicles that were at a yard; a Land Rover, Peugeot 405, and Isuzu Tropper.
"The accident happened on December 3, 203 at around 2030hrs. The registration number of the trailer was not visible," police said in a statement.
"Efforts to arrest the driver of the ill-fated vehicle are underway after he escaped the scene of the accident."
