KPLC: Counties that will have no power on Thursday, 3rd

The Kenya Electricity Distribution Company (KPLC) has warned of power outages in several areas of the country on Thursday.

In a statement on Wednesday evening, the company announced that several areas in 4 counties in Kenya will be without electricity between three in the morning and five in the evening.

The counties that will be affected include Nairobi, Nyandarua, Kilifi and Mombasa. In Nairobi county, parts of the Riverside area will be without electricity between three in the morning and five in the evening.

In addition, parts of Westlands Street and Parklands Rd will be affected by power outages between three in the morning and eight in the afternoon.

Parts of Tudor Street in Mombasa County will be affected by power cuts between three in the morning and five in the evening on Thursday.

At the same time, parts of Kokotoni and Jimba areas in Kilifi county will witness power cuts between three in the morning and five in the evening.

In Nyandarua county, the entire town of Engineer will be affected by power cuts between three in the morning and five in the evening.

KPLC has explained that power outages in the mentioned areas have been planned due to the maintenance activities that will be taking place.
