KPLC: Areas that will experience electricity loss on Thursday

Kenya Power and Electric Company (KPLC) has warned of power outages in several areas in the country on Wednesday.

In a statement on Tuesday evening, the company announced that some areas in eight Kenyan counties will be without electricity between three in the morning and five in the evening.

The counties that will be affected include Nairobi, Machakos, Makueni, Uasin Gishu, Nyeri, Tharaka Nithi, Kilifi and Kwale.

In Nairobi County, parts of Westlands and the Mirema Road area will be without electricity between three in the morning and five in the evening. Meanwhile, a section of Kitui road in Machakos county will also be affected.

The entire area of ​​Kathonzweni in Makueni county will also be without electricity at 3 am and 5 pm. In Uasin Gishu county, the areas that will be affected by the power outage between three in the morning and five in the evening include Koilel Farm, Kaberi and Jamii Millers.

The areas of Munaini, Kagicha and Kariko in Nyeri county will be without electricity between two in the morning and five in the evening.

Gachiongo, Kathangachini, Kiaora, Bob Harries Road, Ruiru town and Ukumbozi in Tharaka Nithi county will also be without steam between half past two in the morning and five in the evening.

In the Coast region, the areas that will be affected include Vipingo, Mavueni, Kanamai, Kikambala, Kambe Ribe and Galu. Electricity will be cut off in those areas between three in the morning and five in the evening.
