In Kiambu, a man was killed when he fell from the third floor of a house that was under construction.

According to the police, Simon Ochaka, 56, died after falling while helping to partition a shop in Thindigwa.

He allegedly strayed while taking a phone call, fell into an open area, and died there.

He reportedly fell from the third story to the first floor of the building after walking into an open area where safety grills had been removed to make room for the intended divider by accident.

He was taken urgently to the hospital, where it was determined he had passed away.

These terrible falls have increased recently as contractors have been urged to protect employees.

Officials are looking into the different cases that have been reported so far.

Police are also looking into an incident where a partygoer died during a fight at a pub in Nairobi's Buruburu neighbourhood.

Long after the incident, the body of the guy known only as Frank was discovered in Donholm by the side of the road.

Police were informed by witnesses that he got into a pub fight where he was assaulted by another patron before leaving.

On July 22, his body was discovered at the side of the road, with a blunt object-related swelling in the back of his head.

Police claimed to have proof that the argument got physical.

They are on the lookout for the assailants.

Police are also looking into the death of a Ugandan national in Wangige, Kiambu, who was discovered next to a creek.

Deep slashes were visible on Stephen Were's forehead and back of his head when his body was discovered in the stream.

Witnesses claimed the dead, a temporary employee at a nearby homestead, may have been murdered and the corpse dumped nearby.

According to authorities, the murder's motive has not yet been determined.

The corpse was taken to the mortuary for an autopsy and additional investigation.

As of yet, no one has been arrested.
