"When communications go well, Sasa hivi nimetolewa. Thus, hata kama kuna chochote chama inataka tusimame nayo siwezi jua," he said.

When asked if he felt like he had betrayed anyone, the neODM Communications Teamwly elected MP responded that he did not feel like a traitor.

He asked,

"Nimemsaliti nani?"

ODM Communications TeamODM Communications TeamJalang'o is among nine ODM MPs who rebelled against the party and have been openly working with President William Ruto.

Others are Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Caroli Omondi (SuODM Communications Teamba South), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem) Mark Nyamita (Uriri), Paul Abuor (Rongo) and Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda.

In the most recent meeting with Ruto, the group reaffirmed its allegiance to the Kenya Kwanza government and pledged to continue working with Ruto.

On July 4, Jalang'o reaffirmed in a tweet that they meant it when they pledged to support Ruto.

"Our resolve to work with HE William Ruto was not a gimmick! We will support the President and we must support the President!"On July 5, the ODM Management Committee resolved to trigger the formal process that would lead to the expulsion of rebel MPs from the party.
