President William Ruto, according to Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance, has turned into a dictator.
"It has also become clear that we are dealing with a dictator. Ruto has become a heartless tyrant and we are determined to have this situation corrected," he said.
The former prime minister also confirmed that the Kamukunji meeting is still scheduled for this Friday.
He stated that similar gatherings will be organised all around the nation to kick off the third liberation.
"We are here to announce that Our Kamukunji meeting is on in Nairobi this Friday as we had announced. It is not just Kamukunji in Nairobi but a Kamukunji across the country where this third liberation will be launched," Raila said.
He said that a signature-gathering activity to represent opposition to Ruto's policies will be carried out during the sessions.
"That day, July 7, 2023, among other activities, we will launch a signature collection to signify our rejection of the illegitimate Kenya Kwanza regime and their policies, especially the punitive taxes."
