A driver collapsed and died after taking lunch in Industrial Area, in Nairobi.

Police said they were informed Simon Kiptanui Rono, 64, collapsed at the Crown Bus Services Company offices after taking his lunch on Tuesday at about midday.

He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police said they are investigating the sudden death. The body was moved to the mortuary.

And a body of one Samuel Kamotho was found on the roadside in Ngando area, Dagoretti.

The body was lying outside rental houses and it is not clear what caused the death.

Police are investigating the incident and they are yet to establish the motive.

Meanwhile, police are investigating the murder of a 56-year-old man whose body was found floating on River Chwele, Bungoma County.

The family of the deceased Richard Wakhisi said he had been called by an unknown person through his mobile phone on June 4 at night before he left.

The body was found floating in River Chwele the following day with deep cuts on the head and both hands, suspected to have been inflicted by a sharp object.

No arrest has been made so far and efforts to trace the killers are ongoing, police said.
